What to expect
Destiny Church is a real church for real people – people like you. On any given weekend, you’ll find people young and old worshiping, learning, and laughing together. When you walk onto our campus, you can expect smiles, hugs, and a warm welcome — because we’re glad you’re here. When you enter the worship space, you’ll experience passionate worship and an encouraging, life-giving message. Our gatherings typically last around 75 minutes. Afterwards, we encourage you to stick around and enjoy a cup of coffee, pastries, and conversation.
Here at Destiny Church we have five pillars of ministries. Those ministries include our Gather, Connect, Serve, Finance/administration ministries, as well as the Edge. Read through to get a better understanding of what these ministries can offer you. If you’d like to get involved, click the link below to learn how.
The ministries that fall under this pillar are of course our Sunday morning gathering which include: Hospitality ministries, Worship Arts Ministries, and Technical arts ministries.
The ministry that fall under this pillar are those in which you can get involved in helping the mission of Destiny Church “…give the 150,000 people in the Tri-County area a repeated opportunity…” These ministries include Missions, Outreach team, Spiritual gifts assessment, and Personality assessment.
This pillar includes our Small group ministries in which several individuals of the destiny family have opened up their homes to host/lead a biblically based small group discussion. There are also Life Application class, Discipleship groups and Affinity groups.
This is an internal biblically based ministry that runs the financial and business affairs of Destiny Church as well as The Edge Sports & Arts Academy.
Destiny church has the pleasure of owning The Edge Sports & Arts Academy, formerly known as Pinnacle Sports. The Edge allows for Destiny Church to reach out into the community with the vast number of athletes that come through it’s doors. The Edge offers programs for both athletic and artistic children, developing both the body and the mind. Enableing them to “…cultivate their character and contribute to the world.” The Edge also invites members of the community to rent out it’s facilities for games, tournaments, parties, etc. Feel free to visit the website bellow.
